Was craving donuts for some wild and unexplained reason...and this place is in the office building next to mine, just a 3 minutes walk underground. Went in yesterday and they were all sold out of their gluten-free varieties (they supposedly only make 5 per day). So I tried again today, at 11am and all that was left was the maple bacon and Madagascar vanilla.
I haven't had a donut in the 4 years I've been gluten-free, so decided to stick with the basics and had the vanilla. I guess they haven't perfected the gluten-free recipe yet because it was dry, stale and dense. The best part was the layer of icing and sugar. I ended up eating the whole thing because, well, I paid $3.65 for the thing. Now I feel as though I have a log swimming in my stomach.
If you're looking for GF, stay away from here. Try a Prairie Girl cupcake instead.
