  • Never having had macarons before, I was more than eager to pop in here and have a try. It was later in the day, so at that point they only had three flavors left. I took one of each: lemon, cherry amaretto, and cucumber rose. I personally preferred the cucumber rose the best as it had the most nuances of the flavors. The other two were good, but not great. Additionally, I felt they were a bit on the too sweet side, so in the end I was glad I only got three. I also noticed the lack of slight chew that macarons are known for. I'd be willing to stop there again to try other flavors and see if my initial experience was a fluke.
