I've lived here for a while and things are really starting to go downhill. It's become increasingly apparent to me that the management cares much more about their image than the actual residents living on their property. Whenever they do apartment upgrades they're always running a week behind and one morning you're waking up to a repair man knocking on your door with no notice. The most recent upgrade involved low-flow toilets and water restricters on our faucets. Even the guy who put in the toilets said that they don't actually save water because you have to flush twice no matter what. COOL.
The "beautifully kept grounds" are usually littered with random crap as well as people's dog excrement. The light for the big dog park is missing a knob so if you go out there at night make sure to bring a flashlight. I have a dog myself, and when I asked the leasing office about having someone clean up the designated dog area they instead asked me to personally find and report the individuals who were causing the issue. Clearly one less step for them to take, further exhibiting their laziness. It would be one thing however if their lack of care was for free, however this is not the case. They try to nickel and dime you by requiring you to sign up for a "mandatory" trash valet of $25 a month, and then fail to pick up so the whole place starts to smell of trash. My apartment is 10 feet from the dumpster and they require that everybody be signed up for the valet service because the owner wants more money, or so Ron said.
Overall, this is the place to live if you want to be disappointed!
