| - We walked into a boutique hotel with a toddler in tow, and I was slightly braced for the typical chill arriving with tiny human tends to induce in anything but the most family-focused of places. Instead, the staff was kind to us and to our kiddo, engaged him at every step, and made our quick trip into something that felt more like a vacation.
In fact, we were having so much fun, we extended our stay another night on impulse.
Had a simply fantastic experience at Distrikt Hotel. We were staying here as part of the Pittsburgh short film festival, and couldn't have asked for better accommodations.
The rooms were small, yes, but once the hotel staff found out we were planning to use a Pack-n-Play in our room, they arranged for us to have a larger-format room, which made a difference. The hotel was clean and well-appointed. The staff was beyond friendly -- consistently going out of their way to make sure our stay was high caliber. Highly, enthusiastically recommended!
