| - The Good: Gravity Pope has a great selection of very unique, stylish shoes. I'm sure almost everyone could find something to their taste. There certainly are some items that are quite expensive but also plenty that are quite affordable.
The Bad: The staff are not so good. They are attractive, stylish and hip - and clearly have neither had to be friendly and helpful to customers or just don't care. Browsing is all good and well- you can be assured that no one will bother you - but asking for help is chilly indeed. Recently I went in with a friend looking for new sneakers and found a nice pair, so I took the display shoe off the wall and sat down to wait for an associate to become available. One of the guys appeared, lingered for a few moments and then said, "You guys are ok, right?" So naturally I said, "Actually, I wanted to try these on." Anybody who has ever worked retail would know that the correct question would have been "Can I grab you a size?" He was alright after that, didn't seem too interested, and I was out in five minutes with shiny new gravis. I wouldn't say the staff is rude, but they're not friendly either, and you certainly get the feeling you're putting them out.
