| - I was super excited that Kung Fu Tea was opening a 2nd location and that it would be closer to where I live. First of all, they do have a few benefits over the Chinatown location:
1. Parking is not a problem. If I go to the Chinatown location, I always plan to go during the first hour of opening because parking really sucks! But with so many great spots in that plaza - Curry Zen, Monta, Raku, etc., I can totally understand.
2. This location is definitely more spacious. The Chinatown one is smaller, gets very crowded and most of the time there are no open seats to sit while waiting for your drinks.
3. They have a stamp card! Buy 10 drinks, get a medium drink for free.
Unfortunately, they are just not as awesome as the Chinatown location. Out of the 3 times that I have been here, the drinks just don't taste right. It was either way too sweet or way too bland. Another time there was too much ice, which I definitely did not ask for. I also don't like how they do not have any coffee drinks. One of the employees told me that they decided not to do coffee because there is a Starbucks across the street. So there's a Starbucks on every block but who cares?
I understand that they recently opened and are still getting their sh!t together, so maybe I will come back again in several months. For now, I will definitely stick to the Chinatown location!
