We must have missed "the rush". Wasn't very busy when we came in but still somehow seemed to take a long time to get food. Most of the time we were here the waitress was talking with a table about what they were out of and what else was wrong with their meal- she did offer to comp their meal and remake them whatever else they wanted, after she was done the chef replaced her and spent another half hr(when we left) discussing the meal. Both employees spoke of how great their service was.
Food-- mediocre at best. Asked what the seasonal fruit was for the French toast- "we just put strawberries on it". Which were old and fermenting. Also ordered pigs in blanket- not exactly red velvet pancakes and they were really doughy with low quality farmer john sausage links
Ordered the signature sandwich as well. Eggs over easy, had a conversation with the cashier about over easy and not medium or hard as she insisted. We received medium eggs. Thanks for the choice, no egg dipping for hubs today, the offer to remake the sandwich was declined as we did not want to wait for another one to be made
"The best" customer service providing waitress was unable to refill a drink almost the entire time we were there
The potatoes with the sandwich were kinda tasty- maybe I was just hungry. Would not go back
