Been here twice and both times, the food no doubt was great but the service was poor. First time I went was during lunch time. Last summer. There was literally no one in the restaurant but yet it took so long for us (2 people) to get our food and even when I asked for a spoon it took a while. The vibe I was getting from the waitress was not attentive.
Second time coming in was on Valentine's day at 8pm. 2 people left as I came in. While waiting for them to clean up it took them 15 mins before I got irritated and just walked myself over and sat down. Yes they were busy but they knew I was waiting there and didn't even acknowledge me to have a seat. Barely checked up on us and was attending to everybody else. Took so long to just get a check. I was in a hurry to leave for work. Again, asked for a plastic spoon and they took at least 5 minutes. I had told them I'm in a hurry! I made it known about the service by giving a small tip. The same waitress was there also. I honestly feel the girls there were unprofessional by their young sense of immaturity in service.
This is the only shabu place in Vegas I would ever go to that can compare to the shabus in California. They need to polish up on their service if they want loyal customers.
