| - My first and last experience at Warren's Jazz was back in July 2009 on a Saturday night. But it was so memorable that I still had to come here and share it, especially after seeing that others had similar experiences.
Although the band and vocals were great, it was not jazz. It was more like R&B and cover songs.
It's a great looking place and fun atmosphere, but the service was poor at best.
The appetizers we ordered took over 40 minutes to arrive. The waitress informed us that since there was a quite large party of people on the other side of the restaurant and since the kitchen is small and can't handle many orders at once, we would have to wait. But we weren't informed of this when we first ordered.
We requested to speak to a manager.
Renee, the manager, was rude and inconsiderate. Her tone and body language was overtly defiant, cavalier, and condescending. I can only imagine that she thought that there was something she was able to infer from our appearance or who we are that would give her the impression that we would tolerate her unkind and inconsiderate response. Needless to say, I was livid that a manager would take on such an attitude and demeanor towards any guest.
I am very discerning about how I spend money, as well as whom I choose to support with my patronage. As such, neither my husband or I ordered or ate anything that entire evening beyond the appetizers we initially ordered.
We sent a letter to Warren's informing them of our experience, but never received a response.
