| - I really like the look and location of this apartment. Most of the issues related to this apartment are associated with its construction. I'm not sure why the HVAC system was chosen because it's horrible. Temp drops to 68 in bedroom when I have selected 73 degrees. If I increase it by 1 degree, the temp changes to 75 degrees. The vent goes to the balcony (on some of the units), which raises the temp to 10-15 degrees higher than the outside temp. You need to really inspect each unit, especially if you have a small balcony. If you get a balcony or sliding door/window, you need to buy a screen because it's not included either.
You also need to be aware of the apartment location. A few blocks up, and it's a scary ghetto. The road itself may be a freeway. Between the numerous semi trucks, you also have to deal with the life light helicopters flying around at all hours. This area is not quiet.
Large kitchen, but it really needs a center island. You have to buy that. No pantry and the cabinets are small, so food storage is non existent. You have to convert one of the closets, which is what others have done.
If you have a heavy walker above your unit, you really hear it.
There is not supposed to be smoking in the building or decks, but the property managers do not do anything to enforce it. Despite all of the conditions attached to the apartment, there is zero enforcement. On weekends you will have neighbors and their guests having loud conversations, while smoking cigarettes or pot.
The property management is very nice, but it is focused on getting full occupancy. They really need to send communication to the tenants restating the policies. There are a lot of inconsiderate tenants here, but a lot of nice ones too.
