  • Okay, full disclosure, this was my first experience at a Korean spa so I don't really have anything to compare it to. All I can say is that I think I'd like to move in, or at least move to a town that has one of these available. I was a little nervous being a newbie and not entirely sure what to expect. Once I got over the initial weirdness of being in my birthday suit around strangers, which took about 2 seconds since everyone was so nonchalant about it, I just gave myself over to the experience of being relaxed and pampered beyond what I knew was possible. I spent about an hour bouncing between soaking pools of different temperatures and steam rooms with different properties (herb, salt, etc.) then had the 70 minute scrub and massage ($120). Again, a weird, but fully pleasurable and relaxing experience. Then I headed up to the co-ed section and enjoyed the red ball clay room. Everything was sparkling clean, professional, and I can't think of a single negative thing to say except that I should have stayed longer. And I could have if I wanted to. I bought a groupon for the use of the spa but found out it was included in the price of my treatments so I'll definitely go back and enjoy the tubs, steam rooms, and other amenities for about the cost of a movie ticket.
