  • There are days when I just want a donut. Not some froufrou hybrid creation cast out of a Michelin starred chef's nightmares, but a true-to-heart, pillowy donut. Alas, this is the place. The donuts are killer. If you want the traditional yeast, cake, and old fashioned, you've got it. If you want something more creative, they have a variety of cereal topped ones. I was particularly enamored by their selection of strawberry glazed. Donut Parlor manages to balance being an authentic, no frills shop with modern sleekness. From the moment you open the door and you catch wind of the sweetness that just seems to comforts, you'll know you found it.
