  • So I booked Circus Circus through Vegas.com. Price was good & Booking was so easy. The day before I get there I called Room Reservations to check if we could get 2 room next to each other as it was my Husband & me & My Mum. I mentioned that she couldn't walk too far & would appreciate a room close to the elevator etc. I had no clue about the layout of the Hotel of Course. However we get there the next Day Sunday 8th March & try to get a parking space closest to the Elevator & take our Luggage out & drag it across the parking & get to the elevator & to the Registration desk. At the Entrance NATALIE stops us & says we should check in & talk to her as she would like to offer us a FREE BUFFET. Who would say no to a Buffet in Vegas? Not a long wait at the Registration & the Lovely Lady ANITA, cheerful as ever checks us in & then tells us that our Rooms are on another block & takes 6 minutes to walk there, Really? I did mention when I called Room Reservations, that my 82 year old Mother could not walk too far. So we drag our Luggage all over again & stop & Speak to NATALIE, about the Promised Free Buffet. She Then gets us to walk over to another Counter & there the Lady is trying to sell us something. She says we had to pay her $150 at that time & she would return $50 to us & when we stayed at a hotel (A list which she went on rattling off) then we would get a Free stay & get $100 back. But we had to stay 3 nights. We were not interested as we are unable to getaway for 3 nights. When I said that to her, the nice lady she was, turned into a Witch. She was Very Rude & literally shooed us off. I asked her what happened to the Buffet & she Very Rudely said, "No that's not for people like you who just stay 1 night." Waste of our time to even listen to her garbage. First impressions, really put me off. We then get back in to our car & drive out across the hotel & to another building to find our room which is on Block E the Furthest one. Room was clean & Comfortable & we had good Parking, Everything was fine. However there was no Fridge (We didn't need one) & no Do not Disturb Sign. I thought since it was Vegas, maybe we don't need all this. Coffee Machine was in the Toilet, But I was not Going to make my coffee in the toilet. So I moved it into the Room. We were out with Friends & got back to the Hotel around 2 in the morning, looking forward to sleeping until it was time to check out. We had to forget about that. 9 a.m. the lady knocks on all the room doors saying she was from Housekeeping & needs to know if we were checking out that morning. I was so very annoyed to be woken up at 9 a.m. when check out was at 11 a.m. Tried to talk to guest Services about it, after 40 minutes on hold, a lady comes on laying saying she's the Manager Guest Services & I tell her all this, she's so Rude & abruptly connects me somewhere. Another lady comes online & I asked her who she was. She says she is the Manager Housekeeping, more Rude to me & when I tell her what happened she says that's the Hotel Policy & there's nothing they can do about it. She says I should have put on the Do Not Disturb Sign. I told her I didn't have one & it seems like no one on that floor had one as this Cleaning lady was knocking on every single door. There was no point talking to her, as she didn't even bother to apologize. Called Guest Services again & the Lovely SYLVIA listens to me, Apologizes & feels really bad for me. I told her we had a 6 hour drive back & needed all the sleep we can get to wear off the Alcohol & food from the previous Night. She then Connects me to the Front Office Manager, CHAD who was kind enough to offer us a Buffet to make up for it all. However, we didn't have time as we had to get on the Road, with all the time wasted trying to talk to all these people. I was Promised a Refund on Our Resort Fee. Not received it yet. So Lets see. But People here are very Rude. Except if you are Lucky you get the Nice kind people who go out of their way to do their Service Recovery. They need more People Like ANITA at Registration, SYLVIA at Guest Services & CHAD at the Front Desk.
