| - Cactus Valley Pool Supply, I am YELPING on you!!!!
First things first, you have until June 30, 2010 until my pool cleaning thingy warranty is up. That means you only have until June 30, 2010 to win me back as a customer.
The first few times I came in I didn't think anything of the stinky employees, I figured they were just bored and therefore lacked luster.
Well today your ass hole employee sent me over the edge. Yall aren't bored, yall are jerks.
I will admit that I know nothing about pools beyond the obvious that they are filled with water and need chlorine. That is why I pay people to take care of it. That is why I give my money to companies like YOU to help people like ME.
I have one of those vacuum things that stays in the pool, i don't know the name but it starts with Hay, so we're going to call it the Hay. Mine is under a 1 yr warranty and I have had issues twice with it now, but not a big deal, it happens and I expect it.
My weekly pool service boy told me it was having issues and to get it checked out. So I take it to CVPS and tell him it's having problems.
upon walking into CVPS I noticed that they advertised a weekly service. Hmmm, I wonder what they charge. I'll ask later
"Do you know what the problem is?"
(blank stare from me) "uhh, i don't know, my pool guy didn't......"
(interrupted and slams the thing on the counter) "I can tell you what's wrong with it!"
(thinking in my head 'ok, why didn't you do that in the first place?')
"when did you have it serviced last?"
"sometime in the winter"
"but you didn't buy a kit so you're not under warranty"
"ok fine, but i'm still under the first warranty back in June of 09"
"well, i'll have to see about that"
(he looks up the date of June 30th to find me and then starts counting on his fingers to make sure it's been less than a year. hey idiot, it's not even may yet, of course it's under warranty)
"who helped you the last time?"
"some guy who just moved here from Ohio, he had brown hair was college-age"
(he gave me a dirty look)
"does that help at all?"
"um, no." he was clearly annoyed that I didn't remember the name of a guy who helped me for 10 minutes almost 6 months ago.
I try to change the subject and let him see that i would like to spend more money at the store hoping this would make him be some what pleasant. "do you happen to know off the top of your head how much you guys charge for a weekly pool service?"
"one time service calls but not weekly pool services"
(wtf does that mean? I took it to mean they do service calls but not weekly services so i continue)
"your sign out front says you do weekly services"
this really pissed him off. His eyes got really big and he raised his eyebrows all the way to the top of his hairline.
"LIKE I SAID YOULL HAVE TO CALL THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT"
(um you didn't say that)
"ok, i think i figured out what was wrong but now you need to check the hose and the suction"
"what am I looking for?"
(his head starts shaking)
"YOU WANT TO LAY THE HOSE OUT TO SEE AND YOU HAVE SUCTION ON YOUR PUMP"
(still, i have no idea what the heck i'm supposed to see on my hose or on the suction so i try to clarify)
"what does the pump need to say?"
at this point i think his snaggle front chipped tooth is about to crack with fury
"WHATEVER THE PUMP SAYS IT NEEDS TO BE"
(still i have no clue what the hell that is so i just take note and will tell my pool guy because this guy is about to give birth to a cow)
get me the eff out of the place. seriously the attitude is out of control. the lack of politeness and common manners is disgusting.
as soon as my warranty is up I will be visiting Leslie's pool supplies to get better service rather than from your snaggle toother, finger counting butt head.
