  • This hotel is down the street from my workplace. I decided to do a staycation this past weekend, to avoid my Monday morning commute from Markham to Mississauga (enough M words there?!). I have been a Marriott rewards (obviously need another M word here and there) member for a few years. I had enough points to stay here for free. You get a free hot breakfast every morning. Each suite has a kitchenette. I enjoyed fixing myself meals using the stove. There is also a full-sized fridge and microwave. You also get to use a dishwasher, which I do not have at home. The bed is high up, even for someone like me who is a couple of inches shy of being six feet tall. I have had the best sleep this weekend. The suite is quiet and comfortable, as is the bed. The hotel has two elevators at the front and back of the building. I stayed on the top floor (third), and had both my rolling laptop bag and luggage. So, I needed an elevator. I did get my exercise simply walking up and down flights of stairs. The hotel also has a fitness room and a pool. I have stayed here twice and have always felt at home. I'd do another staycation here. It was great watching TV, which I indulge much.
