Last Thursday, I rented a car from Alamo at Sky Harbor Airport to drive to L.A. and back. The car was superb, the service was great and the price was very reasonable. My only complaint was that I picked the car up around 5 am - before the airport really starts to get busy - and it took me ALMOST HALF AN HOUR to find a human being who worked for Alamo or National. There was nobody at the counter, the signs took me down the escalator to the garage, and there was nobody there either. Come to find out, they employees work near the car return at night when business is slow. I don't blame them for running light staffed. They just need better signage - to make sure customers can find the place to check in and pick up their vehicles. ANY hint would be helpful.
