  • I checked into this hotel only about two hours ago. I chose this hotel and it was a BIG mistake!! I booked it to celebrate my husband's and my first wedding anniversary, plus it's his 68th birthday . . it's been five months since we've seen each other . . he lives in Georgia, I live in Edmonton . . in other words, it was supposed to be very special, instead, the disappointment is abundant. The view is that of a dirty crumbling building under construction, main (loud) drag, and you have to pay for absolutely every little thing! Except the cheap soap! Truthfully, I won't spend another dime here, not one . . I'll eat elsewhere and get services and entertainment elsewhere. Find something else and save yourself the disappointment. I totally feel I just threw $1500.00 down the toilet and what's worse, we're stuck here! I booked for TEN days, almost $1500.00 and they don't even give you a single free local call . . you have to pay for everything! It's cheap and its dated. The room is mediocre at best . . seriously??? NEVER, EVER again! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY . . They don't give a crap whether you like it or not . . your money is their's. Checked out and was compensated for several issues. It's alright I guess, just not for long term! But, I will say, the staff was kind and polite and that is always good!!
