  • Dr McCarty has been my primary care doc for a couple years now. In that time I had two back surgeries and a lot of pain. I was referred back to Dr McCarty by my surgeon following the surgeries. My surgeon said to expect pain for up to a couple years. In the months since my surgeries, Dr McCarty's staff have treated me like dirt for needing pain meds. Every appointment in this office has been like a new experience in shame. Maybe the guy needs to retire, as his staff seems to run everything. To be in pain, plus get judgmental treatment from his staff is inexcusable! Not a great office environment. I finally decided to quit going. It's just not worth it to be treated like garbage by his staff. I give him one star, because Dr McCarty has been kind in the past. His staff is the problem, but if he can't stop them from behaving this way, maybe retirement isn't a bad idea. My recommendation would be to avoid this office.
