After reading great reviews about this place I called over a weekend and ended up leaving a message. By mid-week I had not got a phone call back from them so I called to inquire about ordering a graduation cake and asked appropriate questions one would ask when ordering a $60 cake to feed 8 ppl. After about 5 minutes of talking with the proprietor, he told me my best bet would be to go to Suarez. Whaaa?? We only wanted a tasty, simple cake without decoration and the owner turned me away stating they aren't set up to sample for smaller orders. They make cakes all day and yes, a small sample of almond cake could have been arranged. If they're in the business to solely make wedding cakes because it is more profitable, that is certainly their prerogative but their website should say as much and maybe take off pictures of birthday and graduation cakes they currently have on there so as not to mislead customers into believing they would like your business. My money is just as green as anyone else's and so it will go to Suarez as the owner suggested.
