  • **This is a breakfast review, not a pie review.** I wouldn't have guessed it, but this place opens at 8 and serves breakfast. I met the usual crew here and we tried it out. I had the basic breakfast (scrambled or poached, home fries, toast and a side salad). Eggs were fine, the home fries were a little bland, the salad was good and the one(!) piece of toast was well...toast! My friends' reviews were mixed. One had an omelet that looked like an omelet, but I witnessed another at an adjacent table that looked more like a scramble. That may account for the gross description given by another Yelper. One of us opted for the raspberry pie, and it went down well with the included ice cream. (Whipped cream was an option.) The coffee was excellent. A stand out. So good in fact, that we were sure it wouldn't be a bottomless cup, but we were wrong. So, for the price of their medium sized offering (1.97), we got well above average coffee, and all we could drink. I'd definitely go back for pie and coffee, but maybe not for breakfast.
