Staying here was really the first time I have gotten out of my element of only planning my activities around the Strip area. For once I planned my Vegas around downtown. Coming in on a bad note where my girlfriend severely sprained her ankle and was in crutches, this place was definitely ADA friendly. Upon check in, we were offered the special ADA compliant room at the upgraded Cabana Suites! These rooms weren't located at the casino side, but across the street.
The rooms can be described similar to your boutique suite you would stay in at a South Beach hotel. Overall atmosphere felt more like a hotel with people instead of a smoked filled casino with grandma playing slots. The shower was my favorite. It was nicely spaced where you can stand up or sit down when you needed to get ready.
We ended up throwing a mini get together in the room before we headed out for the evening, and the front door security was more then chill with me bringing in my friends with music playing at a moderate level. My stay ended up costing me slightly under $50 on a Tuesday evening. I would stay here again if I can get the cabana suites at a decent rate.
