Wow.
Never in my life have I been asked to leave a store for browsing. I cannot even call the fellow working a "gentleman" because he never showed an ounce of customer service towards me and my travel companions. I trained retail employees for six years on how to give above-and-beyond customer service, this was the worst interaction with potential customers I have ever experienced.
Maybe it's a thing in Montreal to have the front door to your store wide open, no special notices on the entrance, no verbal communication and no professional way to tell customers that you are not allowed to be in the store unless you need something specific because of the bazaar happening out on the street where your store is but that's what happened to us. No really, we were asked to leave unless we needed something specific. Well, how am I supposed to know what I need if I can't see what you have? And, the guys I was with were absolutely cooing over the underwear selection here. They were excited, we were having a great time looking around. I sat down for a brief moment to fix my shoe and then BOOM, Move It Or Lose It Guy told us to skedaddle.
Too bad for this place, we walked just down the street and bought stuff at the other other adult store who were warm and welcoming even though they were getting ready to close. Your loss grumpy pants!
