  • We decided to dine on the patio because it was warmer then inside, the snowbirds have to be accommodated, they like it cooler. We were seated approximately 25 minutes after we arrived and it was worth the wait. The basket of warm ciabiatta bread and flatbread was consumed without caring about our low carb diets. Norma had the lobster bisque and I had to fight for a taste, she ate as if she had a date with the electric chair. I started my dinner with the Bistecca Insalata (wedge lettuce) with gorgonzola,bacon,roma tomatoes and creamy parmesan dressing, the wedge must have been cut from a basket ball size head of lettuce !! I could have shared it with Norma ,could have, did not. I ordered the braised beef fettuccine with cremini mushroom, it was fantastic and the bottle of Malbec (red wine) agreed for pairing her up with a great dish. Norma had the wood grilled salmon and she repeatly told me it was the best she ever had, was it her Cosmos talking, I was able to sneak a forkfull and Wow ! I bet that salmon was leisurely swimming just hours ago. We passed on desert, I always do and we both had plenty of food to enjoy at a later date. Our server Tonya was pleasant and very friendly, I wished she could have sat down and had dinner with us.
