| - I had my mother's car hit while it was parked, when she was visiting me. We wanted to take it to a friend's shop, but my insurance said they had their work "guaranteed" over at graceland, so we said sure let's take it there. After reading one of the other reviews, perhaps we should have said we needed the car back asap, because they are clearly taking their time. It's going on week 4. We have been told three times now that the car isn't ready: 1st time they found more damage, completely understandable, 2nd time was this last weds, the car was getting repainted and just needed to get its alignment checked, alright fine I can grab it on monday, 3rd time (today) I just got called that they got the car to get its alignment checked at the end of the day on Friday, and they *might* have it back at the end of today, Monday. Why did they wait 2 days to get the car checked and washed after they had it painted? I mean, we have been polite, and patient, because it's winter in Pittsburgh (which I'm sure means a lot of accidents and repairs), and we appreciate their help (I mean we sure as hell couldn't do what they are doing), but it's passed the point of this being reasonable. I hate when patience and politeness are taken advantage of, now I feel like I have to be an jerk in order to get my car back. When I get the car back I'm sure it'll be great, but the patience is gone.
Just called them up to tell them I'll be over to pick it up tomorrow. They sounded relieved. Never again with these people.
