I've been coming here for kickboxing, on and off, since Sep 2011. The "off" parts were due to two pregnancies and c-sections. But I keep coming back, and am so glad. I don't know if it's motherhood or just maturity, but I have a much healthier goal for my body. I don't strive for the "skinny" body I wanted in my twenties. I want to be STRONG and FIT. And with these classes, I'm doing it! I've learned so much about my body and how to modify any exercise to fit my body's needs/abilities. I hit milestones every week in my techniques, my abilities, my strength and speed. While I go there with focus and determination, I ALWAYS have fun. And with all the other workout classes I've tried, there's nothing quite like the release of banging hard on a bag! The students and coaches are always incredibly encouraging and supportive. Master Nottingham is as dedicated to his school as he is skilled and knowledgable in his mastery. I've loved the addition of Master Mallman as well, and can always count on a great workout and knowing that I did something great for myself after each workout.
Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I'm so glad I did.
