  • I give three stars to this theater. It is very nice and has a very contemporary design with comfortable seating, a full service menu, and a very up to date concession stand. The service structure here is terrible. As someone who has worked three years in one of Madison's best restaurants I am very aware that you won't be getting the service you would at one of Tory Miller's fabulous restaurants inside a Marcus theater, but there is something to be said for having three different people check on you, a food runner try to deliver you the wrong food three times, waiting 35 minutes for buffalo wings, and being in a room filled with dirty plates. I had someone walk by four times before the girl who brought our check (who was the only professional person who met us and was honestly very nice) finally took our plate. I even had to press the service button as I knew Mockingjay was ending and they still hadn't ran our card. Marcus, please improve your service structure. I know it is hard, but movies cost a lot and are a luxury these days and I know that if you do this you'll bring in full seats always! (Buffalo wings were super tasty... fyi :D)
