| - After speaking with the owner via telephone trying to determine the best way to purchase the package that I was looking for, I purchased a groupon offer for their most expensive package which was to include video messaging. This was extremely important to me as we had a very large guest list for our wedding and many people would be wanting to leave us kind words. Richard, the owner, made contract signing very convenient and reassured me that his booth had the video messaging capability for 10 seconds per video. He created a great photo strip background that fit really well with my theme, I approved it and then I didn't hear from him again until he confirmed arrival time with my coordinator. That's fine with me, because hey, I'm busy planning a wedding anyway. Fast forward to my wedding day, Richard and team arrives to set up on time as expected with props that I specifically told him I didn't want that he thought was so cool (an ass hat), no worries though, during my reception walk through I simply put it underneath his table. He also had a huge plastic tip bucket completely decked out with bright colored ribbon and a bright orange label says "TIPS". Also a no go as my wedding had an extremely elegant theme (which was shared with Richard many times) and we took care of all tips. (Don't ask my wedding guests for money ) so needless to say, I also hid this bucket under his table. Now to the part that really irked me, I walk up to the booth in the middle of my reception and ask "have many people been using the video messaging? I'm sure they're loving it" he responds "oh the video messaging doesn't work, it's been broken for months now." WHAT?!?! Why on God's green earth wouldn't you tell me that?! As 1: it was part of our damn contract!! 2: I stressed many times how important that feature was to me and 3: you know very well that that was my deciding factor in choosing your company!! My contract wasn't altered nor was my price changed. It was my wedding day so I kept a level head but to this day, I am still very upset about this.
Richard has a cool interactive personality with guests though and I did get all of the photo booth files within a few days.
