Please be caution if you decide to purchase sunglasses with this brand. If you need adjusting like we did you're better off having it adjusted at the store. We kept asking the SA if we could take it to an optometrist to get better adjustments as they are limited to what they can adjust and she assured us yes we could. But, did not disclose that if it were in any way damaged they wouldn't warranty the product. Unfortunately, the nose piece at soldered point broke off and we were being told by the person who worked on it that its a manufacturer defect from where it broke off. The optometrist can't warranty the damage as we didn't purchase the product from them and did it out of good will!
I then took it back to LV and had the manager Francine helped us but she gave us the impression that it would not be warranty due to a third party handling the product. I just want the sunglasses fixed she wouldn't even accept it to take to repairs all she did was sent pictures to Quality Dept. Told us to wait a week and sure enough a week later we were given the bad news, can't be repaired! You bet we were upset so she asked us to wait another week to see what she could do but another week passed by and still nothing. Furious I was I provided my thoughts and frustration on the survey that was sent to me, oh yeah not a good one for sure. I just don't understand when something like this happens they as a manager, they can't do anything for a loyal customer? I'm sure they can make executive decisions!
They're willing to lose customers over $700 when those customer spend thousands and thousands on their brand. Not smart at all. So yeah, in the end I am still left with a pos broken pair of sunglasses. I'm pissed but what can you do, it is what it is, a lesson learned and this is the end of my Louis Vuitton collection, I've already started selling my LV items as well, yup I'm so over them!
