Dropped by La Santisima on a Friday afternoon around 1:00 pm to grab a late lunch. Initially, I had a bit of a hard time finding the place, but it was bit easier to see once I located the parking lot behind it. There was plenty of seating inside and we were given water and a giant bowl of chips after we were seated. In terms of food, I literally cannot start talking about anything else before I rave about the salsa bar. There are literally 10+ selections of salsa from guacamole salsa to sesame salsa and more typical salsas like salsa verde. I went berserk getting a bunch of the salsas and tried a good deal of them. It also helped that they gave us a giant heaping pile of chips to try all the salsa with.
In terms of actual food, I got the La Santisima Veggie taco and the Mexica Ahuacatl taco. My friend on the other hand had the 3 taco plate with rice and beans. Both of the tacos I ordered were guuureat though I did like the La Santisima Veggie taco a lot more than the Mexica Ahuacatl. I did steal a bite of my friend's rice and beans and it was also super delicious! My friend enjoyed all 3 of his tacos (2 meat, 1 fish) even though his order was slightly incorrect. Overall, the food was great and service was good. The only downside was that they didn't have the guacamole when we went! Definitely need to go back and try it!
