  • - an older place but well kept. The pool water was clean and clear except for the debris that the winds blew in from the trees. This hotel is directly on the approach path of the airport and planes come over fairly low. That is fun to watch from the pool area. Fortunately, from our room, we could not really hear the jets. As we arrived an hour before check in, we decided to seat ourselves in the lobby and just wait. The desk clerk came over to us during our wait to assure us they were working on a room for us and also to offer us water, a nice gesture on her part. The room we got was well appointed and very clean. We received a ground level room (I think something we ask for in our Marriot profile) but unfortunately the room we got had a large building air conditioner compressor out side of our window, larger than the room ac units) and that unit just buzzed all night. A bit of torture. My ear plugs didn't help. At any rate, us tired travelers slept most of the night. But be aware of room 122.
