| - Yes, you can BYOB, but it's an extra $2 charge. The service and atmosphere were nice, and the 3 star rating is for the food. Unfortunately, what you select can be hit or miss. I wouldn't put this place in the top five vegan places I've been to. Came here with a group of five. I ordered the Brussels sprouts salad, the pumpkin curry, and the ice cream sandwich. I had people sample my dishes. They all liked the Brussels sprouts salad and the pumpkin curry.
My other friends ordered the truffle Mac n cheese (hit), the ravioli (I didn't taste it but two others did and they weren't crazy about it), and the falafel--big miss here. My friend had to send this away, that's how much she didn't like it. I sampled it. This was not your usual falafel from all the usual Mediterranean places, and it was just so unfamiliar, and for some reason it didn't taste good.
And now for my ice cream sandwich. The cookies were "raw" and they weren't sweet enough (maybe some coconut would've helped??) and the ice cream part was mostly ice and didn't have that creamy butternut squash taste I was expecting. All in all, this place was a disappointment and we wouldn't be returning because how can we know which dishes would be good and others unpleasant?? I've been to so many vegan places that there's no reason that everything on the menu can't be good.
