Have seen Dr Epstein a few times and each time I think it can't get worse, it does. Not only does Dr Epstein detests answering patient questions but the office staff is curt and rude. Dr Epstein huffs and puffs, sighs as he curtly answers your questions. Of course the shorter and blithe his answers, the more questions I have to ask to get him to clarify. Also, the receptionists and the nurses seem to always be having a bad day. I am not sure what is going on at this place but it is definitely not welcoming. Furthermore, the nurses are rough handed so pray that you don't bruise easily.
Additionally, their billing practice is ridiculous. They bill quarterly, which inherently is not a problem. But if you have multiple follow up appointments within that 3 month period, you are required to pay the bill even prior to actually seeing it!
Go figure Dr Epstein is the only endocrinologist in town (and believe me, I called plenty of them) who isn't booked out several weeks to months. Next time, I will book with a doctor who has a fuller calendar. It's worth the wait.
