  • my family and i have been going to the Golden Greek for over 25 years since i was about 6 or 7, i always got an Italian pasta dish's (very good still to this day ) its what my daughter gets now! the owner would tease me one day you will have Greek food and when you do you will love it. i think i was about 11 or 12 when i got the combo plate with lamb and now at 34 yrs old its what i get! and other reviews are correct it has not changed a bit, the owner treats you as a family or friend. very polite but direct, with small talk here and their when she has a moment.. when my family and i go she knows what we like and says our order before we order it even if its been a little while between visits! It's kinda fun to throw her a curve ball and change it up a little. When my father passed away we even asked them to bring food for his reception/services ( he loved this place) and the owner and family even miss my father..and is brought up from time to time! The Golden Greek will always be a place to sit and have a great Greek or Italian meal at a great price, and with an extended part of family! If your into the Hoyt toy ti places feel free not to show up! Go to Scottsdale and over pay for, very little, and poor Greek food! I and many many others enjoy and love this place as is
