  • 4 stars for a first time visit (and probably 3 stars thereafter). My family and I stayed at the NYNY hotel, which is where this store is located. It was exciting for me since this was my first time here, but basically it's a huge 2-story store that sells all things Hershey's. The first floor included a variety of packaged Hershey's Kisses that I've already seen, except for the macadamia nut ones (which was priced at $6.95 or something for a small bag, but tasty nonetheless even though there were only tiny bits of nuts in each kiss). There were also kisses sold by the pound DIY style ($10.95/lb, if I remember correctly), as well as other familiar candies such as Ice Breakers, Ice Cubes, York (peppermint patties), and Reese's. A lot of keychains, magnets, apparel, mugs, jewelry, etc. etc. with their brand name on it. Some of the T-shirts were cute, but not $29.95 cute. Due to the Christmas season, there were also a lot of ornaments, too. The display case with sweets, such as cookies and brownies, looked really yummy, but there was a line so I didn't bother. The second floor was smaller than the first, and included a lot of Jolly Rancher stuff - packaged Jolly Rancher, sold by the pound DIY style, different sized scented candles... There were also different flavored and/or sized Twizzlers, as well as other old timers that I rarely see these days such as Bubble Yum and Take5. I ended up getting a Jolly Rancher 4pk candle set ($9.95) because they smelled so good, and an insulated tote bag ($6.95) because it was so cute. Even their paper bag was cute! Like any other novelty places, it's an overpriced tourist attraction. Regardless, it's still an exciting place to visit especially if it's your first time, and a fun place to browse around when needing to kill time. Not interested in plain ol' chocolates? Then get a spiked one at the Chocolate Bar right outside the entrance while the rest of your family browses inside the store.
