| - We went here with 4 of us total. It was our 1st stop after finding that Beach House was closed by the time we arrived. We were hungry and ready to have some drinks. Now they don't serve food other than pretzels and "hot pockets" for $15.. which we have no idea what those are because our bartender was very blah, and uninformative to say the least. Joe was his name. It was our 1st time there. We're easy going ppl who can be sold easily just on great service!! We spoke loudly to each other making plans, asking questions about food menu items, liquor etc. Any bartender could've clearly known that we were perfect for upselling and quite frankly, selling us alcohol period. I chose the Manhattan. I watched as he poured it straight from one bottle, over ice and handed it to me. No cherry, orange, bitters, nothing. Completely confused I asked if I'd ordered the right thing and with no words he grabbed the bottle and held it on the bar directly in front and then before turning back around said "its all in the bottle". Or something close to that. Not to mention the only other words he spoke added up to about MAYBE 10 words total.
So we took out happy asses elsewhere, and will return maybe, not on a Sunday, and maybe when there's more than 2 other ppl in the entire place with hopefully another bartender. Hopefully the owner cares enough to reach out, or address his staff. We dropped over $100 at the next bar w food and drinks.
Sorry not sorry.
