The Husband and I stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel from Saturday to Monday in March for a little weekend getaway. We liked the location of Treasure Island (close to Caesar's Palace, the Bellagio, Mirage and Paris) and it was one of the only hotels left in our price range because we came during a busy weekend.
The hotel is also connected to the Fashion Show Mall and is connected by a walkway. We never went to the mall, but could see it from our room. Our room was a good size, but the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything our loud neighbors were doing next to us and everyone walking down the hallway. Channels on the TV were very limited and hard to find (the navigation menu was atrocious) but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Did smell slightly of smoke as did the hallways.
The casino level has a lower ceiling so it does smell really badly of smoke. There are a few restaurants on the same level too (SeƱor Frogs and a Buffet) but nothing worth stopping at. There is a small gift shop with snacks and alcohol and this is the only place I stopped in because it was next to our elevators and convenient to get to.
Checking in and out was easy and we had no problems. I may stay at Treasure Island again next time I'm in Vegas, but if there was anything else around the same price available, I would stay somewhere else.
