So I went to square one and passed by Eva's chimneys, then Laura Secord and naturally I felt like having some sugar.
I tried to resist the temptation for a sugary treat but after walking by peace treats and seeing someone's delicious milkshake I couldn't resist any longer.
Peace treats is definitely a hidden treasure. On the surface it would appear to be a very sparse looking clothing store, but as you walk through the store and get closer to the back you realize there is a little counter selling milkshakes. It is super cute with all kinds of sprinkles and candles in large glass jars lined up along the counter. There is also a cute neon sign that says treat yourself.
The menu was fairly small with only 6 different milkshakes but they were extravagant!!! I got the D.R.E.A.M milkshake in a regular size and my boyfriend and I shared it. The thing was so sweet so it was great that I shared it. It was heaven in my mouth though and I will definitely go back for another milkshake!! Ours had chocolate chips in it and two fluffy white donuts as toppers. Not to mention a heaping pile of whip cream. It was definitely diabetes in a cup but so worth it as a treat for every once in a while.
