One star to the representatives that give out false information. This is the first time that we've ever rented from Alamo Rent A Car, we went thru there website to rent a car here and went thru our triple A plan, before leaving to our trip we contacted Alamo as well as triple A and were told that because we're under age and have coverage thru triple A they would be able to wave our underage fee. Today when picking up our rental car we get over charged $700 for insurance and the underage fee. We went back to there help center to get our refund for both, we then spoke to a manager who said that she could refund our insurance but not the underage fee. They then referred us to customer service in which customer service told us to call another representative. After making a call we were told that this is indeed true and our underage fee would be waved, given a code we went back to speak to more representatives to which they told us they could not wave the fee stating that "As a company we have never waved an underage fee". What I don't understand is how there customer service/support line would give out false information in those 2 calls we made. Please get your employees on the same page because this is absolutely ridiculous.
