| - This might be visually the nicest USO I've ever been in. The downside: it's cramped. Of course, anyone entering the USO will need to sign in at the front desk, which I always find reassuring. Unfortunately for the lady in front of me, a drivers license with the words "Veteran" on it did NOT count as a valid form of ID, so visitors beware of that. (Personally, I think they should have let her in.)
The food selection here is limited to pastries and hot dogs. They may regularly have stuff like Hot Pockets but I didn't see anyone eating those. But they do make lemonade there, which was a nice refreshment.
There are plenty of business computers if you need to use one while you're on the road, so no issues there.
The big issue with this place: SPACE. When I arrived, there were a number of seats available, so I got my ass into a comfy recliner and watched ESPN. But within the hour the place became completely full, with no seats left. I felt bad for the retirees coming in and not finding seats, as well as the younger guys who looked like they could use the rest, so I left. Hopefully they find bigger real estate in the airport to accommodate more visitors at a time.
Lastly, if you regularly go to these places, please donate money on the way out. That's how they keep things like food stocked up so you're not coming in and not having something to eat and to keep their operation going. Remember, they're there to make us feel comfortable but can't do it alone.
