I have shopped there once, today was the first time I brought something in to consign. I left my items in the car and asked the lady at the front of the home goods section if they would be interested. Her name was Roxanne and right from the start she was beyond RUDE!! I had 3 pieces of distressed handmade furniture. She told me that she couldn't help me carry anything in, which is rude but also store policy. She came out and looked at them and said that in order for her to take them I would need to clean them. I told her that I would dust it off. I brought all 3 of the pieces in after dusting them off. One of the pieces was a distressed chef door with paint. She proceeded to tell me that it wasn't clean enough and I should go across the street to AJ's and buy cleaner. I explained to her that it was a distressed door and if I put cleaner on it that it would ruin it and take the paint off. She said that since it was my first time consigning that she would make an exception and take the item. As I was getting ready to leave she asked me if I was going clean it, I told her that I had already told her I wasn't and that she had already accepted it. She got a total attitude so I said, "Never mind, I'm going to take it home." And she said, "Good idea" I don't know who she thinks she is treating customers like this. When in reality the store is not much more than a glorified goodwill!
