  • Drink? I drink drip coffee, so it's always pretty consistent. Food? No thanks. Ever. Service? Good enough, no gripes worth making. Speed of service? Fast enough. I'm not typically in a hurry when I get coffee, but I wasn't standing around long enough to realize I was standing. So... how could this possibly be a negative review? This place is a pig sty. Nothing short of disgusting. There were no fewer than six people on shift (possibly 7, but seeing how often these crew stands around either staring at things or talking to each other, it's hard to tell). No creamer. Every available table was dirty. No napkins in any of the caddies. I worked for Starbucks about 20 years ago. I don't know if they got rid of the 30 minute "spin," but it seems like we did a lot more work with a lot fewer people. Granted, we didn't have drive thrus, which seem to make everyone's lives miserable, in addition to ruining the atmosphere of what a cafe is supposed to be about. That's not the employees faults, so it's not worth getting into in a review. Just saying it's hard to chill out when it feels like everyone has the same sense of urgent scrambling disappointment that I feel when I ask my dad what he thinks of me. The bathroom was disgusting, little shreds of toilet paper everywhere. The pungent smell of urine that's at least an hour old (ammonia) mixed with too-much-boiled-beef fart. I wanted to hover. And I say that as a person that pees standing up and sometimes hands free. WEEE!!! There was a strange substance on the door handle. It was sticky. Was it flavored syrup? Was it related to the shreds of toilet paper stuck to the floor? Like I said, I used to work for Starbucks 20 years ago... and no matter what it is on that door handle, my guess is it isn't good... and maybe because it's... overly salty... This store is about a year old and it is already trashed. I have a thing about not going to a place with dirty bathrooms again... and this is one I'm not going to be returning to. But, they do have some really interesting conversations within full earshot of customers, so I'll give them that.
