La Brioche is very close to my work place. My usual visits are a quick stop for a morning bun and the Double Miel to go. I find the staff friendly and quick. My dining-in experiences are less frequent and are, again, usually in the morning for the breakfasts.
I had a surprise visit from a former coworker so we decided to met up at La Brioche for dinner this past Tuesday. I got there first and was snagged a four top for my group ( one in a wheelchair ). I got the table set up right for the group and ordered the Earl Mint tea for my wait. Loose leave tea and a nice sized tea pot of hot water was brought. I mixed in a little honey and it was so good. I may have to come in the morning early for the newspaper and tea before work.
My wait (for my friends) was a bit longer than I expected. The server was considerate to check on me periodically. I did take my phone out for a quick text to see where my group was. I respect their rule about cell phones. It makes the space more relaxing without tables all chatting up their phones. And since my phone was out, I snapped a picture of the menu and of the tea. I am a Yelper, after all!
When my group finally arrived, I ordered the Quiche Lorriane. It is served with potatoes and salad but I asked if I could exchange the potatoes for acorn squash. They did and that was such a good choice. I really like the salad, too. It is dressed with a balsamic dressing that is very good. The Quiche was good and I would get it again. Price points for the restaurant are a bit high but the quality of food is there so I'm okay with it. La Brioche is a nice relaxing restaurant.
