Steakhouse was delicious. View was great. However it was definitely pricier than steaks I have gotten back in NYC that are better. I know being compared to a Peter Lugers, Keens or Del Friscos is a hard hand to be dealt but if you're gonna charge more than those places and then name yourself "Prime" then you're challenging someone to wonder. I wouldn't consider this steak equal. Its still great but I'm being critical for the reasons above.
All that said, I didn't have a horrible experience. I ordered a filet mignon rare. Before you jump on me for being at a steak house and ordering filet just understand that I wasn't hungry. Everyone else ordered the bone-in rib eye med rare or rare and I got to taste it.
My steak didn't come out rare. It came out medium. The catch is someone else ordered a filet and they got theirs rare but ordered medium. By the time I realized it was too late since my friend started eating his while I was in the bathroom. So the servers messed up. Whatever.
Again, just want to end with this place isn't horrible. It has an average rating of 4/5 for a reason. Im being critical on purpose. When i go back to Vegas Ill be visiting a different steakhouse though. It wasn't good enough to compete with the best so I have no reason to be loyal to them when there are so many other options I have yet to try there.
TLDR: It is overpriced and not as good as the best NYC steakhouses I have been to. Its still good. The view is great.
