| - The OBGYN, nurse practitioner, and both midwives are outstanding! This side of the staff are very friendly. The midwives are amazing; they both have a very positive yet hold a relaxing energy about them. Dr. Brar is awesome, she is very encouraging, she continuously makes you feel so great about yourself and does not pressure you at all in any particular direction.
The office staff, they're very friendly, but there's not much to say about their knowledge with the system they use and lack in communication BIG time and are not really organized.
#1 - The billing person I called 3-4 times in February, I received a call back from the receptionist reading off her notes and was unable to answer my questions or even transfer my call to the billing person to get my questions answered. If your health insurance is set up based on a deductible needing to be met, your screwed... I have made my payments for my OBGYN contract and met my deductible, I continue to receive calls from the office staff saying that I have a balance or that I owe.
#2 - I've received calls on the same day of my appointment to reschedule because the lady who scheduled with me didn't know the availability and just spit fired a time and day. When you work on the opposite side of town and full time hourly, this is very difficult to work around.
#3 - I was 39 weeks, the medical assistant took my bp (I think she is new), and said I have extremely high bp. I told her i haven't had high bp all pregnancy she tried again and it still showed up high, she ended up finding out that her tool to take my bp was wrong. I know this must be petty to some, but when there's multiple occurrences with the office staff this just adds to the concern.
I don't EVER right reviews, however this experience has been a roller coaster of stress through out my pregnancy all thanks to this office. The Dr.'s are wonderful, and you can truly tell they all have a passion and love what they do. The office staff on the other hand needs to get it together...
