  • We rented a home in Mooresville, North Carolina for a year from Colony America/ Waypoint Homes. My overall experience with the company and the people in Charlotte was a good one. Keep in mind you are renting from a large company spread out across different locations, not some guy on the other side of town. The house we rented was built in 2005 and had minor issues with things like light switches malfunctioning and some plumbing problems. Waypoint was quick to remedy these issues and I was very satisfied with this. I was surprised at the issues we had for a house as new as it was though no fault of Waypoint. There was a minor issue at the end of our lease and is something to keep in mind if renting from Waypoint. The lease has language requiring 60 days notice of moving from said property. I provided this twice and still received a letter in the mail stating I had failed to provide said notice. After contacting the local office and providing documentation this notice was provided the incident was resolved. All in all we were satisfied with our experience and interactions with the people in the local office.
