PROS: What I like most about this salon is that they don't bother with any airs--most of the staff are pretty down to Earth, not terribly chatty (with me, anyway), don't try to sell you anything. You can just read your book and be reasonably sure they'll do a good job. I generally feel I'm in very good hands here; I'm not stressed out when I'm there, as is so often the case at other places. Generally at this salon there's no out-of-left-field tacky crap that then has to be fixed at another salon (as can happen at many other salons).
CONS: Since I usually book at the last minute these days, I really can't ask for any specific stylist or colorist, so I've tried out lots of them at this salon. Most are very good. I did have one major mishap with a senior colorist (he bleached the hell out of my hair despite my indication that I wanted LESS blonde on my damaged hair). Also, another one of the colorists (who I was going to consistently for a very long while) never bothered telling me I didn't have to have full highlights every single time (also, again, despite my expressing concern about the increasingly fried look)--it wasn't until I happened to get another colorist that I was told I could just get base (solid) root touch-ups for my slightly grey re-growth several times in a row (instead of highlights every time) to prevent further damage--thanks for letting me know! Made a huge difference!
