  • I have been a patient for many years and drive over 40 miles to see Dr. Gary Smith or any of the PAs. Dr. Smith sold the business then came back around to support them internally a few days a week since this transition there's been a lot of Front Office turnover and as a result poor customer service for basic needs such as scheduling an appointment. Consequently, they do not have an internal standard operating procedure for complaints, it was treated as classified information when I asked to speak with or leave a message for the office manager in an attempt to report my experience. The receptionist blatantly ignored any of my request literally talking over me and acting as if she didn't hear me then she placed me on hold abruptly without letting me know she was going to do so and she did this periodically throughout the call. It's a great medical staff with the exception of the front office team they need extensive training on how to deal with patients in an appropriate manner.
