  • I've been trolling hard on yelp lately... so naturally I came across love me sweet. As soon as my family and I walked through the door we were hit by the delicious smell of fresh cheesecakes. We got there around 1:30pm (on a Thursday). No line up. No cakes in the display case. WTF? Haha. A customer was waiting for her preorder of 9 cheesecakes. Luckily, we were still able to score 4! 3 originals and 1 chocolate. We waited maybe 5 minutes. Now... I've had competing Japanese cheesecake before and love me sweet is comparable if not, better. Plus... there was no line up, it's in an easy to find plaza/mall, with parking! What?! (Ahhh, the perks of the suburbs) But I digress... both the original and chocolate cheesecakes are deliciously light and tasty. The chocolate one surprised me! It was very good! And I'm not usually a big chocolate fan when it comes to cakes. The owner is also super nice. He noticed my son playing with the grand opening balloon and gave it to him along with a bottle of water (my son is 10 months old, lol). He told us that they will be making a coffee flavoured one soon. So... obviously... any excuse for me to go back.
