  • Your very basic motel with no frills. Stayed here one night and we were cutting it close the midnight check in cut off because our flight was delayed. I could tell when we arrived at 11:50pm that the girl was super annoyed and just wanted to leave. Room was dated but nothing out of the ordinary. If you are looking just for a place to sleep this will do the job. It was super quiet and we had no problems. When we arrived our a/c was not on so the room was 100 degrees just like outside but within 30 minutes it was ice cold. The ad online said this place doesn't have a pool and it does! We had no problems with the pool either. Was a nice little dip in the heat. My biggest complaint was that there was at least a quarter to a half inch gap around the entire door. I watched where I stepped for fear of scorpions! 8/6/17- update! Stayed here again on our way out of the southwest again. Decided to stay in the same room since we had semi good luck last time. BIG mistake. First issue we had was they didn't have the ac on, which I get - why waste energy on an empty room. But what they don't realize is those old school units take HOURS to make the room even remotely comfortable. We got there at 5pm and our room still wasn't cool by 3am when we left to catch our flight. Around 8pm we started hearing this loud chirping noise. At first we thought it was coming from outside but then quickly realized it was in our room. We narrowed down the area and looked where the carpet was pulled up slightly and a family of crickets decided to live there ! My fiancĂ© took care of that problem. The people next door decided to party all night with their tweaker friends and repeatedly bang on our door. We wanted to switch rooms but then remembered we'd need to start the process of attempting to cool down our room with the crappy ac unit all over again if we moved. So noise cancelling headphones it was. Upon leaving at 3am we found another cricket. Such a bummer. I really wanted to like this place but seeing the crowd that lingers here twice now I think this is the place for druggies and trashy people. I think I've come to that stage in my life where I'm willing to pay extra for a clean quiet place. I mean what can you expect for less then $40 a night?
