| - 2 years ago my wife and I were going to take advantage of their get one window installed free with no obligation offer. So the guy came out and yes took over an hour to do the pitch and of course offered us a good deal on 17 windows for house. Then ( wait for it ) if we signed that day $5000 would come off the price, imagine that! I absolutely hate high pressure tactics like that and never decide on the spot.
However after some discussion with my wife , she persuaded me and we decided to go for it and do the 4 years free financing. And when trying to figure the price per window I am not sure as we took out the 4 front windows and had 2 bay windows installed instead, Those by the way are quite nice looking with hardwood construction. However the installer in the one room notched out the trim to go around an outlet without asking! I said i'll move the outlet because it looks like crap, so I did and he came back the next week and installed a new piece of 6 inch trim. Also all our windows were old Anderson 5 foot tall windows so I think we did ok on the deal. However I will say the price was less than half of what renewal by anderson quoted which was absurd at $38,000 for the whole house!
For quality they seem to be ok, double pane filled with argon gas I think, the welds on plastic look fine, at least we no longer have drafts. As far as the coating that is supposed to block UV i don't know as the carpet is slightly warm where sun comes in on those windows. And when the guy was going to demo how the heat does not make it through i don't believe that, his temperature gun wasn't working so I let him borrow mine from harbor freight and he had torch on one side heated to 90 plus degrees and on inside it was supposed to be cooler which it was. This winter when I look at temperature of inside glass during 20 degree days it reads about 50-54 degrees not even close to 72 degree house temp. So I don't know if that is normal. if temp was in 60 degree range I might think they are working. I will say though after two years and opening and closing them they are still holding up ok and aren't loose or too tight. I would say they are no better or worse than any other vinyl windows but do your homework.

I am adding to this review after reading others and changing to 1 star because of the BS high pressure sale tactics they seem to pull on everyone and get the same response about "passing on to the management". However I will also add the crew that came were polite and they cleaned everything up after unlike the other guy where they left a mess. I also offered them coffee and a couple of the guys took me up on it as it was about 28 out when they did the install. I also like the other reviewer who said no matter what, you pay the same price for the windows and his number $19k was the same as ours, interesting. However I believe we only did 500 down and they didn't require 60% as they asked of him. Like I said decent windows but let's see what happens if we ever need warranty service.
